Welcome to Viva Cafe Ingles!
SPSE-6820-ICON2.gif

This site is provided as an example for graduate students enrolled in SPSE 6820 / Second Language Acquisition: Theory and Research for Teachers. Students who completed SPSE 6800 (Spring 2010) and have already created their Language Wikis should use the information presented here as a guide in adding a Staff and Faculty Development Component to the existing Language WIki. For those who have not completed SPSE 6800, here's a brief overview:

A Wiki is a website that uses software that enables the user to create, edit, and alter content. As partial requirement for SPSE 6820, you will create a Staff and Faculty Development Wiki that may be used for information and staff development purposes to provide information, strategies, and tips that will assist regular education classroom teachers in meeting the needs of second language learners. The Wiki may also be used to share information with colleagues, administrators, community members, and parents.

You will be adding to the Wiki when you enroll in SPSE 6800 / Language & Linguistics for ESL Classrooms.

LAST, please remember to complete the Wiki Survey in the course site. THANKS!
